Abstract

Digital transformation is bringing about a qualitative transformation of the productive forces in Vietnam, in which data are becoming a new object of labor, digital platforms and artificial intelligence are emerging as important means of labor, and knowledge is increasingly functioning as a direct productive force. In this transformation, workers continue to occupy a decisive position, while facing competency requirements that differ substantially from those of previous periods. Therefore, human resource training is not merely a social policy accompanying modernization; rather, it constitutes an integral component of the development of the productive forces themselves. This article examines how human resource training can meet the requirements for developing the productive forces within the current context of digital transformation in Vietnam.

Keywords: Human resource training; productive forces; digital transformation; workers; science and technology; Vietnam
