Typical editorial timelines (target ranges)
1) Submission confirmation and technical check
3–5 business days (We verify completeness, scope fit, and basic formatting/required statements.)
2) Editorial (desk) assessment
7–10 days from submission (An editor evaluates suitability, novelty, and minimum scientific standards.)
3) Reviewer invitation and assignment
3–7 days (Qualified reviewers are invited; additional invitations are sent if needed.)
4) External peer review (single-blind)
14–21 days (Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and submit reports.)
5) First decision (overall)
Typically 4–6 weeks from submission (Depending on reviewer responses and manuscript complexity.)
Revision timelines (author time)
Minor Revision: 7–14 days
Major Revision: 21–45 days
Re-review (if required)
Usually 7–14 days after resubmission.
After acceptance: immediate publication
Once accepted, your manuscript enters copyediting and production. Publication is immediate after copyediting and final proof approval, under the journal’s continuous publication model.
How we keep reviews moving
To reduce delays, the journal:
